The Town of Floyd invites you to a series of FREE events in the Warren G Lineberry Park in downtown Floyd, Virginia Bring the whole family and enjoy the beautiful Warren G Lineberry Park filled with music, movies and fun activities for the whole family. Featuring music, movies, face-painting, inflatables, games, food and beverage and special activities presented by a variety of community organizations! Join us for an evening of Americana mixed with country, rock and roll and bluegrass when we welcome the incredible Chatham County Line to Floyd Small Town Summer. Opening act Virginia Hollow will add some great local music led by singer-songwriter Carrie Hinkley. Enjoy 2 great bands and all kinds of fun family activities in the Warren G Lineberry Park! Tentative Schedule: 6:00 - Gates open 6:30 - Virginia Hollow 7:45 - Chatham County Line ABOUT CHATHAM COUNTY LINE: Launched a little more than twenty years ago in Raleigh, North Carolina, Chatham County Line built a devoted local following on the strength of their genre-bending live show—an intoxicating blend of bluegrass, folk, country, and rock and roll. ABOUT VIRGINIA HOLLOW: Hailing from the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, Virginia Hollow is based out of Floyd, VA. Virginia Hollow's sound is a blend of Americana, country and folk, with a hint of bluegrass and rock. The trio plays original songs with a few hand-picked covers occasionally sprinkled in.
